Job Title : Technical Consultant / App Development Architect (MERN Stack – Hospitality Domain)

Location : Mumbai

About the role

We’re seeking a highly skilled Technical Consultant with strong expertise in the MERN Stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js) to collaborate with our outsourced development team on a hospitality-based application. This role combines hands-on technical leadership, consulting, and architecture advisory responsibilities, ensuring the app aligns with business goals and modern technical standards.

Key Responsibilities :

Act as a technical liaison between the client and development team.
Review existing codebase, architecture, and product roadmap to suggest technical enhancements, performance improvements, and scalability updates.
Guide and mentor the team in implementing best practices for backend and frontend development.
Ensure smooth integration of APIs, databases, and third-party tools for hospitality-specific features (booking, CRM, POS, etc.).
Participate in system design discussions, architecture reviews, and sprint planning.
Conduct code reviews and provide actionable feedback for maintainability and performance.
Evaluate new technologies or frameworks relevant to product goals.
Work closely with product owners and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical deliverables.
Oversee deployment and production troubleshooting as needed.

Required Technical Skills :

Strong proficiency in Node.js, Express.js, React.js, MongoDB, and RESTful API development.

Experience in microservices architecture, scalable system design, and API security.

Hands-on experience with AWS / Azure / GCP cloud services for app deployment.

Sound understanding of CI / CD, version control (Git), and DevOps pipelines.

Ability to identify and resolve architectural bottlenecks and optimize performance.

Prior experience in hospitality or service-based application development is a plus.

Preffered Soft Skill :

Excellent project management and cross-functional team coordination skills.

Strong communication and ability to explain technical topics to non-technical stakeholders.

Problem-solving mindset with attention to user experience and system scalability.

Capable of handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced, client-driven environment.

Ideal Candidate

Has 7–12 years of experience in full-stack or backend architecture roles.

Has worked as a Tech Lead, Engineering Manager, or Technical Consultant.

Experience in MERNSTACK

Can balance hands-on coding with team coordination and code review responsibilities.

Understands hospitality industry app workflows preferred but not mandatory.

Demonstrates leadership in outsourcing or cross-border collaboration environments.
