Senior Electrical Engineer

We're building India's first commercial Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) with a Schottky FEG - fully designed and manufactured in-house. If you're interested in deep-tech hardware and want to own the electronics backbone of a flagship scientific / semiconductor instrument, this is your role.

Q. What will I build?

You will be responsible for the design of the electronics stack inside the SEM :

• Design mixed signal PCB assemblies for the SEM : precision analog frontends, low-noise drivers, digital control, I / O.
• Design precision current / voltage control circuits for the electron source, lenses, coils with a focus on stability, low drift, and low noise.
• Own signal integrity, grounding, shielding, and EMI / EMC in a very noise, high-voltage, high-vacuum environment.
• Collaborate with chief scientist, electron optics, and mechanical leads to turn system level requirements into the electronics outlay.
• Bring up and debug boards in the lab with a focus on high iteration velocity and hands-on experimentation
• Design for manufacturability, reliability, and safety from the initial prototypes to production.
