The team

The team serves as a central pillar driving growth and transformation within Deloitte, spanning several business lines and various technology functions. We are established as a centralized team collaborating across consulting, implementation, and operation to maintain and enhance client value offerings and services. We innovate conventional approaches, leveraging Deloitte technology, differentiated domain expertise, intellectual property, talent, and capacity to embed continuous advantage and deliver enhanced business value.

In this team, our focus is on catering to the unique needs and preferences of clients in the South Asia region. Your role within this dynamic team is essential for establishing networks and relationships across the client stakeholder ecosystem and ensuring service fulfillment. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with other Deloitte leadership and stakeholders dedicated to the client. Your contributions will involve nurturing new and existing relationships, supporting presales life cycles, and playing a pivotal role in driving the success of Deloitte business growth for the specific client.

Role and responsibilities :

The SAP MM Consultant is responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting the SAP Materials Management module to streamline procurement and inventory processes. This role involves working closely with procurement, warehouse, and finance teams to ensure efficient materials planning, purchasing, inventory management, and invoice verification within the SAP system.

Education- Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, IT, or related field-

Deep understanding of procurement, inventory, and material management processes.

Experience with SAP S / 4HANA MM is a plus.

Ability to analyze business processes and recommend SAP solutions.

Good communication and interpersonal skills for working with multiple stakeholders.

Experience with integration points between SAP MM and other modules like FI, SD, and PP.

SAP MM certification preferred.

Configure and customize SAP MM module components including Purchasing, Inventory Management, Material Master, Vendor Master, and Invoice Verification.

Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP MM solutions.

Support end-users in daily SAP MM operations and resolve issues related to procurement and inventory.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Finance, Production, and Sales to ensure smooth material flow and integration.

Participate in SAP MM implementation, upgrade, and enhancement projects.

Prepare functional specifications for custom reports and interfaces related to MM.

Conduct training sessions and prepare documentation for users.

Monitor and improve MM business processes to optimize procurement and inventory management.

Support data migration activities during SAP projects.

Assist with internal and external audits related to procurement and inventory transactions in SAP.

Stay updated on SAP MM best practices and system upgrades.

Knowledge of SAP Ariba or other procurement tools.

Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS).

Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Experience with SAP Fiori apps related to Materials Management.

Location and way of working

This profile involves frequent travelling to client locations
