Job description

Uniconserve is a growing technology-driven company focused on delivering innovative digital solutions and robust web platforms. We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer who is passionate about clean code, scalable architecture, and delivering high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize backend systems using PHP frameworks such as CodeIgniter and Laravel.
  • Build and customize WordPress themes and plugins according to project requirements.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
  • Design and implement efficient APIs and database structures.
  • Troubleshoot, test, and maintain core product software for strong optimization and functionality.
  • Ensure high performance and responsiveness of web applications.
  • Write clean, well-documented, and reusable code following best development practices.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with CodeIgniter and WordPress development.
  • Strong proficiency in PHP, MySQL, and jQuery.
  • Experience with Laravel framework (added advantage).
  • Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and RESTful APIs.
  • Knowledge of version control tools like Git.
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
