Job description

Key Responsibilities :

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain UNIT-e solutions across legacy and cloud-based environments
  • Work on both on-premise and Azure-based applications
  • Build and maintain applications using .NET Framework, .NET Core, C#, VB6, and Windows Forms
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (QA, DevOps, Product) to ensure successful project delivery
  • Implement secure-by-design and scalable architecture patterns
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following TDD and best practices
  • Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and web services
  • Participate in code reviews, provide technical mentorship, and share knowledge with peers
  • Utilize CI / CD pipelines, Azure DevOps, and version control tools for source management and deployment
  • Write and execute test cases using XUnit, Moq, and API testing tools like Postman
  • Perform advanced SQL / Oracle database operations and work with Entity Framework for ORM
  • Follow Agile methodologies (Kanban, Scrum, XP, Lean) for iterative development
  • Proactively contribute to innovation, automation, and process improvements

    • Required Skills & Experience :

  • Strong programming skills in .NET Framework, .NET Core, C#, VB6
  • Experience with Windows Forms application development and maintenance
  • Frontend skills in MVC, JavaScript, HTML, CSS
  • Experience working with Microsoft Azure (deployment, management, and scalability)
  • Solid understanding of software architecture patterns and secure coding practices
  • Experience developing RESTful APIs
  • Proficient in unit testing frameworks like XUnit, Moq
  • Experience with Azure DevOps, CI / CD pipelines, and version control systems
  • Proficiency in SQL and Oracle with strong querying and Entity Framework skills
  • Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g., Postman)
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) across technical and business stakeholders
  • Hands-on experience working in Agile environments (Scrum, Kanban, XP, Lean)

    • Nice to Have :

  • Experience in education technology or government statutory reporting systems
  • Prior involvement in legacy system modernization or cloud migration projects
