Java Production Specialist

About the Role :

Our client a leading IT services company with over 20,000 employees is looking for skilled and motivated Java Production Specialists to join their on-site support teams in Bangalore and Hyderabad. This role focuses on providing L2 / L3 production support for enterprise Java applications in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.

Ideal candidates will have strong troubleshooting skills, hands-on experience with monitoring tools, and proficiency in Linux / Unix environments.

Key Responsibilities :

• Provide L2 / L3 support for Java-based enterprise applications in a production environment.
• Monitor system performance and application health using tools such as AppDynamics, Splunk, Dynatrace, Kibana, and Control-M.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and collaborate with development teams for permanent resolutions.
• Conduct code-level debugging and contribute to bug fixing and support automation.
• Execute SQL queries for troubleshooting and data validation.
• Utilize Linux / Unix command-line tools for diagnostics and support.
• Adhere to ITIL / ITSM processes for incident, problem, and change management.
• Maintain runbooks, support documentation, and knowledge base articles.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.

This is a work-from-office role, Monday to Friday.
