SAP MM Lead Consultant - SD / PP / WM Modules

Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced SAP MM Lead Consultant to spearhead the design, implementation, and support of SAP Materials Management solutions.

The role requires strong functional expertise in SAP MM, integration knowledge with other SAP modules, and proven leadership skills to manage end-to-end implementations and lead a team of consultants.

The SAP MM Lead Consultant will collaborate with business stakeholders to optimize procurement, inventory management, and supply chain operations, ensuring business objectives are met with robust SAP Responsibilities :

• Lead full lifecycle SAP MM implementations, including requirement gathering, blueprinting, configuration, testing, and deployment.
• Work with business stakeholders to analyze procurement, inventory, vendor management, and logistics processes and translate them into SAP solutions.
• Configure SAP MM modules such as purchasing, inventory management, material valuation, invoice verification, and vendor evaluation.
• Ensure seamless integration of SAP MM with related modules such as SD, PP, WM, QM, and FI / CO.
• Manage master data related to materials, vendors, and purchasing info records.
• Collaborate with technical teams (ABAP, BASIS) for enhancements, interfaces, and custom developments.
• Conduct functional testing, prepare training documents, and deliver workshops for end-users.
• Provide post-implementation support, resolve issues, and ensure long-term system stability.
• Lead, mentor, and guide SAP MM consultants and support teams, ensuring quality project delivery.
• Act as a trusted advisor on SAP MM best practices, SAP S / 4HANA innovations, and digital supply chain trends.
• Ensure compliance with organizational standards, SOX requirements, and audit controls in MM processes.
• Manage stakeholder communication, project risks, and ensure timely status and Experience :
• Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.
• 8+ years of hands-on SAP MM experience with at least 23 end-to-end implementations.
• In-depth expertise in SAP MM processes such as procurement, vendor management, inventory management, valuation, and invoice verification.
• Strong experience in SAP S / 4HANA MM and familiarity with Fiori apps.
• Experience in integration with other SAP modules : SD, PP, WM, QM, and FI / CO.
• Understanding of procurement processes such as P2P (Procure-to-Pay), subcontracting, consignment, and third-party procurement.
• Exposure to SAP Ariba, SRM, or other procurement solutions is an added advantage.
• Proven experience in managing teams, leading client workshops, and stakeholder engagement.
• SAP MM certification & Functional Skills :
• SAP MM configuration and customization expertise.
• Strong knowledge of purchase requisitions, purchase orders, RFQs, contracts, and vendor evaluations.
• Experience with inventory management, batch management, and special procurement processes.
• Hands-on experience in automatic account determination, material valuation, and movement types.
• Familiarity with IDocs, BAPIs, workflows, and SAP enhancements.
• Knowledge of SAP Activate Methodology, ASAP, and Agile Skills :
