Job description

Job Overview :

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to manage daily accounting operations, statutory compliance, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Zoho accounting software and a strong understanding of bank reconciliation, accounts receivable, GST, PF, and TDS filing.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Perform bank reconciliation and ensure accurate recording of all transactions.
  • Manage and track accounts receivable, follow up on outstanding payments, and maintain customer ledgers.
  • Prepare and file GST returns, PF, and TDS within statutory timelines.
  • Maintain compliance with applicable accounting and tax regulations.
  • Prepare and review financial statements and assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Generate and analyze financial and management reports to support business decisions.
  • Record and verify accounting entries in Zoho Books, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and clarifications.
  • Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify variances and improve financial efficiency.

Skills and Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Proven experience working with Zoho Books or similar accounting software.
  • Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, PF filing, and basic tax compliance.
  • Good understanding of accounting principles and reconciliation processes.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and financial reporting tools.
  • Excellent analytical, numerical, and organizational skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.

    • Preferred Experience :

  • 2–3 years of experience in accounting and statutory compliance.
  • Prior exposure to financial analysis, and reconciliations.
