Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Document Controller with a strong background in the semiconductor industry, specifically in
greenfield factory setup
prior to construction start. The ideal candidate will be responsible for establishing project standards and managing the document control system to ensure compliance, accuracy, and timely distribution of all project documentation during the construction and execution phases.
Key Responsibilities
Document Control System Setup
Develop and implement a robust document control framework aligned with semiconductor industry standards and project requirements.
Configure and manage Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS) such as EIDA, Aconex, Procore, or similar platforms.
Manage, control, and maintain all project documentation (engineering drawings, specifications, contracts RFIs, submittals, permits, etc.)
Define document numbering, naming conventions, workflows, and metadata standard and ensuring the required standards are implemented and adhered too.
Pre-Construction Documentation Management
Control and track all design deliverables, specifications, vendor documents, and regulatory submissions.
Ensure timely receipt, review, and distribution of engineering drawings, process flow diagrams, and cleanroom specifications.
Maintain accurate records of revisions and approvals for all controlled documents.
Compliance & Quality Assurance
Ensure adherence to ISO standards, semiconductor industry best practices, and local regulatory requirements.
Conduct regular audits of document control processes and provide corrective actions where necessary.
Stakeholder Coordination
Act as the primary point of contact for document-related queries between engineering, procurement, construction, and external vendors.
Liaise with stakeholders and vendors to track document submissions and approvals
Support project teams in document retrieval, submission, and version control.
Reporting & Metrics
Generate systematic reports on document status, outstanding actions, and compliance metrics.
Monitor KPIs related to document turnaround times and accuracy.
Qualifications & Experience
Education :
Bachelor's degree in engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, Information Management, or related field.
Experience :
Minimum 5+ years in semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing projects, with at least 3 years in Document Control.
Proven experience in greenfield factory setup and pre-construction phases.
Technical Skills :
Proficiency in EDMS platforms (EIDA, Aconex, Procore, SharePoint, etc.).
Strong understanding of semiconductor facility design documentation (cleanroom layouts, process utilities, tool installation drawings).
Soft Skills :
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary environment.
