Python Backend Developer (Full-Time, Remote Kerala)

NaviRex is an Indo-German technology venture building a digital platform for distributed clean-energy systems.

Our mission is to make small-scale renewable energy adoption scalable, accessible, and financially sustainable through digital innovation and inclusive climate-tech solutions.

We are expanding our engineering team in Kerala and looking for a talented Python Backend Developer to help build core components of our platform. You will work closely with our Senior Engineers to deliver reliable, scalable, and well-designed backend services that support NaviRex’s growth across India.

Role : Python Backend Developer (Full-Time)

Location : Kerala (Remote, Work from Home)

Experience : 3 years

Reporting to : Senior Engineer

Compensation : ₹30,000 – ₹50,000 per month (negotiable based on experience and skill)

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy high-quality Python backend services and APIs.
• Work with senior engineers to design scalable and maintainable backend components.
• Implement integrations with internal and external systems (REST APIs, data sources, etc.).
• Build and manage database models, queries, and performance improvements (PostgreSQL preferred).
• Write clean, modular, and well-documented code following established best practices.
• Contribute to performance tuning, basic security improvements, and deployment workflows.
• Collaborate with Product and engineering teams to convert requirements into actionable tasks.
• Participate in code reviews, follow Git workflows, and maintain high code quality.
• Stay updated with relevant backend technologies and propose improvements when needed.
