We hire engineers to audit AI-generated technical content and create high-quality training data that strengthens model reasoning. We’re seeking Electrical Engineering QA / AI Trainers —individual contractors and qualified agencies are welcome.
What you’ll do
- Review and rate prompts / model answers across analog / digital circuits , signals & systems , control theory , power systems / electronics , electromagnetics , and communications / embedded .
- Verify calculations, assumptions, units, and standards compliance; ensure clarity, rigor, and safety.
- Draft improved prompts, gold-standard solutions, and concise written feedback using QA rubrics (SFT / RLHF / evaluation).
- Run quick validation / analysis in Python (scripts or notebooks; scientific stack helpful).
- Identify edge cases and propose rubric / guideline refinements to ensure consistency and quality.
Minimum Qualifications
3+ years in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s / PhD strongly preferred .Practical Python skills for analysis / validation (NumPy / SciPy / Pandas / SymPy a plus).Ability to scrutinize step-by-step reasoning for circuits, signal processing, control, power, and related topics.Strong written English; follows detailed QA rubrics; writes clear, constructive feedback.Reliable computer / internet; able to pass an AI interview and QA calibration.Nice to Have
Teaching / lecturing / training or technical content review experience.Prior work on LLM QA / RLHF / SFT pipelines.Contract & Schedule
Type : Contract (independent contractor), remote.Hours : Less than 20 hours / week; minimum 15 hours / week (flexible).Duration : 3–6 months (potential extension).Compensation : USD $6–$55 / hour (target $40 / hour ).Scope : ~ 120 hours overall.Openings : ~30 roles.About OpenTrain
