Job Description – AGM / DGM (Civil Projects & Maintenance)
Role Overview :
Responsible for leading large-scale industrial and infrastructure projects (Solar, Power, Cement, and related industries) from concept to execution, ensuring timely delivery within budget, compliance to quality and safety standards, and effective stakeholder coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end project management including initiation, planning, budgeting, estimation, scheduling, execution, monitoring, and closure.
- Manage construction and maintenance of large-scale industrial facilities including Solar Cell / Module plants, Cleanroom facilities, Utilities (ETP, STP, HVAC, CAS, PUW, Chillers, PEB structures, etc.).
- Drive cost control measures, optimize resource utilization, and ensure adherence to budgetary limits.
- Oversee vendor and contractor management – from tendering, negotiations, billing, to execution monitoring.
- Ensure strict compliance with safety protocols (Zero Harm culture) and quality control measures as per industry standards (ISO standards, cleanroom class ISO-6, ISO-7, ISO-8).
- Lead multi-disciplinary teams of engineers, managers, and contractors, ensuring high performance and accountability.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders, consultants, and government bodies for approvals, permissions, and smooth project execution.
- Implement data-driven project reporting, dashboards, and periodic reviews for management.
- Drive innovation in construction methods, sustainability initiatives, and digital adoption (SAP, MS Project, AutoCAD, AI-enabled systems).
- Provide training, mentoring, and development opportunities for team members.
Key Skills & Competencies
Strong expertise in Civil Project Management (industrial plants, utilities, cleanrooms, infrastructure).Proficiency in SAP, MS Project, and AutoCAD.Excellent leadership, conflict management, and decision-making skills.Deep knowledge of project costing, budgeting, and resource optimization.Strong ability to manage multiple large projects simultaneously under strict timelines.Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.Qualification & Experience :
Diploma / Degree in Civil Engineering (Diploma holder with 18+ years of experience acceptable).18–25 years of relevant experience in large-scale construction projects in Solar, Power, Cement, or related industries.Proven track record of leading projects above ₹500 Cr+ scale, including complex cleanroom and utility infrastructure.
