Job description

Key Responsibilities

Test Strategy & Planning :

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and maintain the test strategy for ADAS and Driving Functions, ensuring full coverage across software testing, system testing, and release phases (SWE.4 to SYS.5).
  • Define test scope, objectives, and priorities in line with project goals, safety standards (e.g., ISO 26262), and ASPICE compliance.
  • Ensure planning and execution of test activities across relevant test levels and environments (SIL, HIL, etc.).

Test Execution & Coordination :

  • Lead and mentor V&V teams consisting of software and system test engineers.
  • Perform hands-on testing when necessary, setting an example for the team.
  • Implement and maintain quality assurance processes.
  • Identify areas for improvement in testing processes and methodologies.
  • Lead execution of test plans for ADAS features across SIT Planner, Perception, Fusion and customer driving functions such as Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keeping Assist, Emergency Braking, Limiter etc.
  • Coordinate integration and verification across multiple teams and test environments.
  • Monitor and report on test progress, coverage, and defect trends

    • Cross-Functional Alignment :

  • Act as the central point of contact between global Test Managers, Development teams, Tooling teams, and Quality organizations.
  • Ensure seamless communication and alignment across all stakeholders throughout the testing lifecycle.

    • Defect & Quality Management :

  • Manage defect triaging and root cause analysis for issues found during validation of ADAS and Driving Functions.
  • Ensure complete traceability between requirements, test cases, and defects.
  • Support internal and external quality audits and assessments.

    • Tooling & Automation :

  • Collaborate with tooling and automation teams to enhance test coverage and efficiency through CI / CD pipelines and automation tools.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of automated regression test suites for ADAS functionalities.
  • Propose and implement innovative testing solutions
  • Will be responsible as a Right Side of the V Model, Expanding ADAS practice by building Assets, Accelerators, PoCs, etc.
