Job Description
Job Purpose :
To oversee and manage the production processes of our Temperature & Pressure Gauges Division., ensuring high-quality standards, adherence to timelines, and continuous process improvements while coordinating with design, quality, and maintenance teams.
Key Responsibilities :
- Plan, supervise, and monitor the production activities in the gauges department.
- Ensure timely manufacturing of gauges as per customer requirements and project schedules.
- Interpret technical drawings, specifications, and standards for gauge manufacturing.
- Monitor and control production costs, minimize wastage, and improve efficiency.
- Coordinate with the design and quality team for new gauge development and inspection requirements.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (ISO, ASME, etc.) and internal quality norms.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions for production issues.
- Supervise machine operations, calibration, and tool maintenance related to gauges.
- Prepare production reports, documentation, and maintain records for audits.
- Drive process improvements and implement lean manufacturing techniques.
- Train and guide shop-floor operators and technicians to enhance skills and productivity.
