Job Role : Observability Architect
Location : Hyderabad, Chennai, Bangalore, Pune, Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Noida, Indore
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced observability architect with deep expertise in AppDynamics and end to end observability design across enterprise applications, infra and cloud platforms. The architect will be responsible for deifning and driving the observability strategy, designing scalable architectures, and enabling proactive monitoring, AIOPs and self healing capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and design enterprise-wide observability frameworks integrating metrics, logs, traces and events across hybrid environments
- Define and implement APPD monitoring strategy, covering applications, APIs, databases, and infra layers
- Collaborate with platform, application and SRE teams to ensure complete telemetry coverage and visibility across critical business services.
- Develop and maintain observability reference architecture, standards, and best practices aligned to business resilience objectives
- Drive integration of observability data with AIOPs and self-healing platforms to enable predictive incident detection and automated remediations.
- Define SLIs, SLOs and SLAs for key business services and ensure observability aligns to availability and performance targets.
- Establish governance. Maturity models and review cadences for continuous improvement.
- Partner with command center, availability management and business service resilience teams to deliver actionable insights that drive uptime and reliability.
- Lead POCs tool evaluation and migrations ensuring optimal use of observability tools.
- Mentor and guide observability of SMEs and engineers on solution design and implementation.
Required Skills
8+ years of experience in IT operations, application performance monitoring, or observability domains.Strong hands on in APPD and familiarity with other monitoring toolsStrong knowledge of distributed systems, micro services and cloud native architecturesProficient in telemetry collection frameworksExperience with AIOps, event correlation and automation platformsExpertise in implementation and admin activitiesGood experience in data enrichment and data standardizationFamiliarity with protocols like SNMP, REST API, and log forwarding.
