We are an established import company based in Vadodara, specializing in industrial pumps for industrial clients. As a key member of our team, you’ll work directly with the business owner and manage end-to-end operations, including basic pump servicing, ensuring seamless workflows and exceptional customer satisfaction.
Role Summary
This role is central to maintaining operational efficiency and customer trust. You will oversee inventory management, order processing, dispatch logistics, and basic pump servicing—ensuring the right materials are delivered on time, with accurate documentation and proper handling. Your work will directly impact delivery reliability, service quality, and customer retention.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive incoming shipments, verify quality and quantity, and update stock records promptly
- Monitor and maintain minimum stock levels; support inventory planning and replenishment
- Prepare Sales Orders, Invoices, and E-way Bills with accuracy and timeliness
- Design and produce basic labels, stickers, and envelopes for dispatch packaging
- Pack materials securely, record weight and dimensions, and coordinate with couriers / transport providers
- Share dispatch updates with customers via email or WhatsApp.
- Perform basic servicing of AODD pumps, including dismantling, inspection, part replacement (as guided), re-assembly, and testing
- Log all service activities in a service register with complete documentation
- Handle after-sales inquiries professionally and coordinate timely resolutions
- Maintain organized digital and physical records, including files, photos, and documents
- Adhere strictly to 5S practices, safety protocols, and confidentiality standards
Requirements
Diploma in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering – preferredOR Graduate (B.Com / B.Sc / BBA / BE, etc.) with strong interest in mechanical or industrial work1–3 years of experience in operations, store, dispatch, logistics, service, or maintenance within a trading or manufacturing setup – preferredFreshers with the right attitude and eagerness to learn are encouraged to apply.Basic English reading and writing skills for communication via email, WhatsApp, and documentationProficiency in MS Excel (data entry, formulas, filtering, sorting) and MS WordComfortable performing hands-on mechanical work using tools like spanners, screwdrivers, etc.Understanding of GST invoice and E-way bill preparationKnowledge of stock / inventory and SKU conceptsFamiliarity with actual weight vs. volumetric weight and basic courier charge calculationsValid 4-wheeler driving licenseUnderstanding of 5S methodologyBasic knowledge of commercial terms (freight, delivery, payment terms, warranty / guarantee, etc.)Location Requirement :
