Purchase Executive

to support smooth order management, procurement, and coordination with sales and operations.

Key Responsibilities

Procurement & Vendor Management

Assist the Purchase Manager in identifying, evaluating, and onboarding vendors.

Raise accurate purchase orders and follow up on supplier dispatches and deliveries.

Maintain updated vendor databases, quotations, and comparative statements.

Order Management & Fulfilment

Align closely with the sales team to understand client requirements and delivery commitments.

Coordinate with warehouse and operations for timely order fulfilment.

Track order status end-to-end and ensure smooth execution of client deliveries.

Inventory & Stock Coordination

Monitor stock levels and highlight shortages or delays to the Purchase Manager.

Work with sales and operations to avoid stock-outs or overstocking situations.

Reporting & Compliance

Prepare and share MIS / reports on procurement, vendor performance, and order status.

Ensure all purchase-related documentation is complete and audit-compliant.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Commerce, Business Administration, or related field.

1–3 years of experience in procurement, purchase, or supply chain preferred (freshers with strong aptitude may apply).

Strong negotiation, coordination, and communication skills.

Proficiency in MS Excel / Google Sheets.

Ability to multitask and work under tight timelines.
