SAP ABAP Consultant RAP

Job description811 years of experience in SAP ABAP development , with at least 2 end-to-end S / 4HANA implementations . Strong hands-on experience with RAP (Restful ABAP Programming Model) . Proficiency in ABAP Objects , CDS Views , AMDP , and OData . Familiarity with SAP Fiori / UI5 integration is a strong advantage. Deep understanding of performance optimization and modern ABAP design principles. Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills. Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and enhance ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms (RICEF).
- Build custom applications and extensions using the Restful ABAP Programming Model (RAP) .
- Develop and consume OData services , CDS Views , and AMDP for high-performance solutions.
- Perform detailed code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices and SAP standards.
- Work closely with functional consultants to understand business requirements and deliver high-quality technical solutions.
- Provide support for issue resolution, performance tuning, and system optimization.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical solutioning during project delivery.
- Stay updated with the latest innovations in SAP S / 4HANA and ABAP programming.
