Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Social Media Manager to join our marketing team. This is a paid, full-time role that involves driving brand growth by strategising, creating, and managing engaging content for our social media platforms. The ideal candidate will have a passion for social media trends and a knack for building meaningful online connections with our audience.

Key Responsibilities

Content Strategy and Creation :

Develop and execute platform-specific social media strategies, with a focus on Instagram.

Create, schedule, and publish high-quality posts, reels, and graphics for Instagram that align with the brand’s identity.

Leverage Instagram's features (stories, reels, posts) to create diverse and engaging content.

Community Engagement :

Manage and respond to comments, messages, and other interactions on Instagram.

Foster a strong Instagram community by actively engaging with followers, responding to DMs, and participating in relevant conversations.

Monitor and engage with Instagram trends and conversations relevant to the brand’s target audience.

Analytics and Insights :

Monitor, analyze, and report on Instagram performance metrics, including follower growth, engagement, and content reach.

Identify trends in Instagram user behavior and data-driven opportunities to optimize campaigns and content specifically for Instagram.

Use Instagram Insights to track key performance indicators and adjust strategies accordingly.

Collaboration and Coordination :

Work with cross-functional teams, including design and content, to ensure cohesive Instagram branding and messaging.

Support integrated campaigns on Instagram and maintain alignment with the brand’s marketing goals.

Collaborate with influencers and other Instagram accounts to expand reach and visibility.

Innovation and Trendspotting :

Stay updated with the latest Instagram trends, tools, and algorithms.

Propose and implement creative Instagram ideas to enhance engagement, follower growth, and brand awareness.

Explore innovative Instagram features (like Reels, Stories, and IGTV) to keep the content fresh and relevant.

Instagram Management and Growth :

Oversee and grow the brand’s Instagram presence by developing engaging content and strategies tailored to increase followers and engagement.

Implement Instagram-specific growth tactics, such as hashtag strategies, collaborations, and Instagram ads, to maximize audience reach.
