Summary of the Position

Niles Shared Services, LLC is a privately held and financially strong industrial services company that prides itself on the safety of its workers. Niles is looking for an experienced MS Access Designer to maintain and optimize Microsoft Access databases that support critical business processes. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in database design, data modeling, and user interface creation, while also assisting with migration strategies to transition from Access to modern systems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Design and maintain MS Access databases, including tables, queries, forms, and reports.
• Create intuitive user interfaces and workflows for data entry and reporting.
• Optimize database performance and troubleshoot issues.
• Integrate Access databases with other systems (Fabric, Power BI.).
• Assist with planning and executing migration from MS Access to new platforms (e.g., ERP system).
• Document database structures, processes, and user guides.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
