Job Summary :
We are seeking an experienced Java Technical Architect with a strong background in designing and implementing scalable microservices architectures. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of Java technologies, cloud platforms, and modern development practices, along with leadership experience in defining architectural best practices and leading engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance microservices-based architectures using Java, Spring Boot, and REST APIs.
- Define and enforce architecture and coding standards, ensuring best practices across development teams.
- Lead technical evaluations, tool selection, and integration strategies across multiple systems.
- Work closely with Product Managers, Developers, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver end-to-end technical solutions.
- Guide teams on CI / CD pipelines, Git workflows, and automated deployment strategies.
- Ensure systems are compliant with security standards, and drive InfoSec implementation practices.
- Perform performance tuning and optimization of existing systems.
- Lead cloud migration or hybrid infrastructure efforts using AWS or Azure.
- Collaborate with mobile teams for mobile app integration and external system APIs.
- Mentor junior architects and developers, conduct code and design reviews.
Required Skills & Experience : Minimum 12 years of experience in software development with 4+ years as a Technical Architect.
Strong Expertise In :
Core Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot.Microservices Architecture.RESTful Web Services.Kafka / Messaging Queues.AWS / Azure Cloud Services.JPA / Hibernate.Git, CI / CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI / CD).Security standards and compliance.Strong understanding of design patterns, system design principles, and distributed system design.Experience with external integrations, third-party APIs, and mobile app integration.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Nice to Have :
Experience in mobile app integration (iOS / Android).Hands-on with performance tuning tools and techniques.Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, and infrastructure as code.(ref : hirist.tech)
