ETL Testing(SQL+Bigquery)

Job Description

We are looking for a meticulous and proactive ETL Tester to ensure the accuracy, reliability, and performance of data pipelines built on Google Cloud Platform. This role involves validating ETL workflows, reconciling data across systems, and collaborating with developers and business stakeholders to uphold data quality standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing test strategies, creating reusable test assets, and automating validation processes.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement comprehensive

test plans ,

test cases , and

test scenarios

for ETL pipelines

Create and maintain

test certificates

and validation documentation for audit and compliance purposes

Perform

data reconciliation

and

validation checks

across multiple systems and sources

Collaborate with developers to identify and resolve data mismatches and transformation issues

Automate test execution using scripting tools and frameworks

Conduct

regression ,

integration , and

performance testing

for data workflows

Document defects and track resolution through version control and issue tracking systems

Support

UAT

and production validation efforts with business stakeholders

Required Skills & Qualifications

Strong experience in

ETL testing

and data validation

Proficiency in

SQL

and

Google BigQuery

for data analysis and test design

Familiarity with

Python

or other scripting languages for test automation

Understanding of

Apache Airflow

and ETL orchestration tools

Experience with

GitHub

or similar tools for version control and collaboration

Excellent attention to detail and analytical thinking

Strong communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams

Nice to Have

Exposure to

CI / CD pipelines

and

DevOps

practices

Experience with

cloud platforms

like AWS, Azure, or GCP

Familiarity with
