Job Summary :
As the Corporate Relations Manager – Finance & BFSI / Digital Branding & Advertising, you will play a pivotal role in strengthening the university’s engagement with organizations across the Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, Investment, FinTech / Marketing Agencies, Advertising Firms, Digital Marketing Companies, Brand Consultancies, and PR Agencies domains. Your primary responsibility will be to develop strategic partnerships, secure internship and placement opportunities, and create long-term collaborations that enhance student employability within the financial ecosystem.
This role requires strong industry understanding, relationship management, and strategic outreach to ensure University becomes a preferred talent partner for the Finance & BFSI sectors or Digital Branding & Advertising
Key Responsibilities :
1. Sector-Specific Corporate Engagement & Partnership Development
Identify, develop, and manage relationships with key organizations across Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, FinTech, Investment Banking, and Wealth Management OR creative, media, and digital agencies, including advertising networks, PR firms, performance marketing agencies, influencer marketing platforms, and marketing consultancies.Build a strong ecosystem of hiring partners including banks, NBFCs, credit bureaus, mutual funds, rating agencies, consulting firms, and financial start-ups OR in-house marketing teams of brands, e-commerce firms, and digital-first companies for internships and placements.Proactively identify new-age firms in digital marketing, branding, content creation, analytics, SEO / SEM, and social media marketing for collaboration.Secure internship, live project, and placement opportunities exclusively in Finance and BFSI sectors. Or Secure opportunities for students in creative strategy, brand management, content marketing, performance marketing, digital analytics, and account management roles.Drive industry partnerships for guest sessions, leadership round tables, and collaborative programs focused on emerging financial trends. Or Organize industry mixers, marketing panels, and campaign-based competitions to connect students with professionals from the creative economy.2. Strategic Business Development & Relationship Expansion
Drive the business development aspect of corporate relations by proactively identifying, pitching, and onboarding new industry partners across the marketing and digital ecosystem.Develop customized engagement proposals, MoUs, and collaboration models that create mutually beneficial partnerships between the university and corporates.Adopt a consultative sales approach — understanding company needs, talent pipelines, and skill gaps to position University students as the right fit for their hiring and project requirements.Consistently expand the university’s corporate footprint through targeted outreach, industry mapping, and relationship nurturing to convert prospects into long-term partners.3. Employer Needs Analysis & Collaboration
Map sector-wise hiring needs, upcoming financial skills, and technology adoption trends in BFSI.Liaise with employers to co-create specialized opportunities aligning with students’ finance-focused career aspirations.Gather and relay employer feedback to the Career Services training team to strengthen finance-oriented training modules and bridge skill gaps.4. Strategic Placement & Internship Management
Formulate annual placement strategies for finance-specialized students (MBA, BBA, and related programs).Work with recruiters and internal teams to match the right talent to finance roles across domains such as equity research, risk analysis, business analytics, corporate finance, and financial consulting.Oversee the summer internship program lifecycle within the BFSI space — from outreach and onboarding to feedback and conversion tracking.5. Data Management & Insights
Maintain updated databases of BFSI employers, opportunities, and student placement outcomes.Analyze placement trends and prepare reports specific to the BFSI domain for leadership reviews and strategy formulation.Key Result Areas (KRAs) :
Industry Partnerships : Number and quality of Financial Services partnerships established.Placement Outcomes : Internship and placement conversion rates within Finance / BFSI.Employer Satisfaction : Positive feedback and repeat hiring from BFSI partners.Student Engagement : Level of participation in finance-focused events and mentorship programs.Brand Positioning : Visibility of University in BFSI industry networks.Skills, Qualities, and Experience :
Proficiency in CRM tools, Microsoft Office, Google Suite. Strong understanding of recruitment and partnership processes within BFSI and Finance domains.
Skills & Qualities
Exceptional communication and relationship management skills; strategic and analytical thinking; deep understanding of BFSI industry trends; ability to build and sustain high-value partnerships.
Experience
10-12 years of experience in corporate relations, campus hiring, or business development with a strong focus on BFSI / Finance. Previous experience with universities, B-Schools, or EdTech in employer engagement is preferred.
Additional Information :
Work Schedule : Full-time; flexibility required for industry events and travel.Other responsibilities may be assigned as needed, aligned with the evolving goals of the university and the Career Services department.
