Teradata Database Administrator

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop, maintain, and optimize Teradata database solutions.
• Perform performance tuning, TASM management, and SQL optimization.
• Monitor Teradata activities to ensure system performance and stability.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including French clients (communication in English), to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
• Provide technical expertise, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for database-related issues.
• Act as the primary Teradata expert on site, ensuring smooth operations and supporting business needs.
• Anticipate customer challenges and provide proactive, constructive & Skills :
• 9+ years of experience in Teradata database development and administration.
• Strong knowledge of performance tuning, SQL optimization, and TASM.
• Experience in Teradata activity monitoring.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfortable working in customer-facing roles with global stakeholders.
• Ability to collaborate with French stakeholders (in English).
• Independent, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset.
• Strong understanding of customer challenges and ability to provide practical, constructive inputs.
