Role Overview
As a Manpower Sourcer , you will play a key role in supporting the recruitment team by identifying, attracting, and engaging potential candidates. You will work closely with recruiters and hiring managers to ensure a consistent flow of qualified candidates for ongoing and future hiring needs. This role is ideal for someone who has a strong interest in recruitment, enjoys interacting with people, and wants to grow in the HR domain.
Key Responsibilities
Sourcing & Screening
Identify and source candidates through various platforms including job portals (Naukri, LinkedIn, Shine, Indeed, etc.), internal databases and social media.
Perform preliminary screening of resumes to assess candidates’ qualifications, experience, and suitability for open positions.
Conduct initial telephonic interviews to verify basic skills, experience, and interest level.
Build and maintain an active candidate pipeline for current and future hiring requirements.
Coordination & Communication
Coordinate with recruiters and hiring managers to understand detailed job requirements and desired candidate profiles.
Support the recruitment process by scheduling interviews and maintaining communication with candidates throughout the hiring cycle.
Ensure timely follow-ups and feedback collection from both candidates and interviewers.
Reporting & Data Management
Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate information in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) or recruitment database.
Generate daily, weekly, and monthly sourcing reports to track progress against hiring targets.
Contribute to process improvements and suggest creative sourcing strategies to meet hiring goals.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Education : Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience : Minimum 1 year of experience in sourcing or recruitment (preferably in an agency or fast-paced environment).
Technical Skills :
Hands-on experience using job boards (e.g., Naukri, LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed).
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets for tracking and reporting.
Experience with ATS tools is an advantage.
Soft Skills :
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a high-volume environment.
