Platform Consultant - Linux Administration

Description :

This role is a foundation role for platform consulting, not a traditional Linux operations-only system administrator position. Strong Linux fundamentals are mandatory. Based on aptitude and interest, engineers are trained and inducted into one or more technology towers :

Responsibilities :

• Participate in enterprise customer engagements involving : Platform deployments, Infrastructure modernisation, Platform upgrades and lifecycle operations.
• Execute assigned implementation tasks aligned to the solution architecture and project plans.
• Support configuration, validation, and stabilisation of platform components.
• Collaborate with Kuberox architects / SMEs and customer stakeholders during delivery and support phases.
• Build a deeper understanding of platform behaviour beyond task execution ("why" behind the steps).
• Troubleshoot issues using strong Linux and system-level fundamentals (logs, processes, services, networking).
• Follow structured delivery processes, governance, and quality standards.
• Contribute to customer-facing documentation (as-built docs, operational guides, SOPs, runbooks).
• Take progressive ownership of platform components and delivery workstreams.
• Maintain professional communication with customers and internal teams.
