Business Intelligence Developer(QlikSense / Informatica) (Urgent)

POSITION SUMMARY : Designs and develops complex multi-system applications and drives collaboration with others to ensure effective project completion. Works collaboratively to develop and implement unit and system testing processes

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

1. Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient ETL processes using tools such as Informatica ensuring optimal data extraction, transformation, and loading.

2. Develop, and test reports using QlikSense reporting tools

3. Develop and perform unit testing

4. Migrate ETL artifacts between environments

5. Work with Product Owner and BI team to understand business objectives in order to satisfy report and data warehouse design requirements and translate the data requirements into technical specifications.

6. Optimize and troubleshoot ETL workflows to ensure data accuracy, performance, and reliability in batch and real-time processing environments.

7. Develop and enforce data quality, data profiling, and validation checks throughout ETL pipelines.

8. Create and maintain technical documentation for ETL processes, data flow diagrams, and architecture.

9. Participate in code reviews, promote best practices, and contribute to improving the team's development standards.

10. Ensure compliance with data governance, security policies, and privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).

11. Own and lead complex ETL troubleshooting efforts in production environments involving large datasets, multi-source systems, and time-sensitive business processes.

12. Perform rapid root cause analysis on data integrity issues, performance bottlenecks, job failures, and unexpected data flow anomalies.

13. Work cross-functionally with DBAs, infrastructure teams, DevOps, and data consumers to isolate and resolve production incidents with minimal downtime.

14. Lead post-mortems for critical incidents and design permanent corrective actions to eliminate recurring problems

15. Maintain strong SLAs and ensure compliance with data governance, audit, and security standards.

16. Continuously explore and implement modern data engineering tools and practices.

17. Interact with BI team to understand the source data

18. Architect and design data warehouse structures for global usage and 24 / 7 availability

19. Strong knowledge in SQL and PL / SQL.

20. Incorporate appropriate data security throughout all development efforts

21. Consistently look at the opportunity in all change

EDUCATION EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED :

1. Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Business or another relevant field AND a minimum of 5 years relevant experience

2. Outstanding academics

3. Demonstrated experience in successful implementation of technology solutions

4. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively to drive projects to an effective and timely completion

5. Experience with ETL tools such as Informatica and Talend

6. Experience with QlikSense reporting suite

7. Demonstrated strong and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills in a large team or departmental setting
