Position Title : Project Engineer
Experience Required : 3–5 years (Interior Fit-Out Projects)
Reporting To : Project Manager / Operations Head
Role Summary :
The Project Engineer is responsible for managing technical coordination, scheduling, procurement support, quality control, and overall execution of interior fit-out works from start to handover.
Key Responsibilities :
- Prepare project schedules, micro-plans, and weekly targets for site teams.
- Review GFC drawings, shop drawings, and coordinate with design teams for clarifications.
- Plan and monitor manpower, materials, and subcontractor deployment.
- Ensure quality control of all interior & MEP activities as per specifications and standards.
- Coordinate with consultants, clients, and vendors for approvals, inspections, and technical requirements.
- Prepare material take-offs, BOQ validations, and raise material requisitions.
- Track project progress, site productivity, and update progress reports (DPR / WPR).
- Manage subcontractor billing verification, site measurements, and work certifications.
- Resolve technical issues at site and ensure seamless interface between MEP and interior activities.
- Support project close-out, snag listing, rectification, and final handover documentation.
Required Skills & Competencies :
Strong technical knowledge in interior fit-out works (joinery, civil, gypsum, glass, flooring, finishes, furniture).Good understanding of MEP services and coordination with interior activities.Ability to read detailed drawings and prepare red-marked / as-built drawings.Experience in project planning tools (MS Project / Primavera preferred but not mandatory).Vendor / subcontractor management capabilities.Strong communication, documentation, and leadership skills.Problem-solving, decision-making, and ability to handle fast-track projectsSkills Required
