Job Summary

This role requires a proactive and technically skilled Business Systems Support Specialist to take ownership of the Pronto Xi ERP system and provide hands-on support to the broader IT team. Working with all stakeholders, this role is critical in ensuring the stability, performance, and continuous improvement of our business applications and systems. You will act as the primary liaison between business users and technical teams, driving system enhancements, troubleshooting issues, and supporting day-to-day operations.

Role And Responsibilities

ERP Management (Pronto Xi)

  • Administer and maintain the Pronto Xi ERP system, including user access, configuration, and data integrity.
  • Collaborate with business units to understand requirements and implement ERP enhancements or customisations.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and Pronto support for upgrades, patches, and issue resolution.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for ERP processes, configurations, and training materials.
  • Monitor system performance and proactively identify opportunities for optimisation.

IT Application & System Support

  • Provide Level 1 and 2 support for business applications and systems, escalating to Level 3 or vendors when necessary.
  • Assist with software deployments, updates, and integrations across the organisation.
  • Support IT infrastructure projects and contribute to system improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain application security and compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
  • Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing for critical systems.Foster and promote the company, product, and brand in the market
  • Promote and live the Company Mission, Vision and Values
  • Comply with Company policies and procedures, including the completion of documents and records
  • Promote and work with Standard Operating Procedures to ensure uniform quality standards in all areas of the business

    Qualifications & Education Requirements

  • Degree qualified in ICT, Engineering and / or Business discipline
  • Desirable

  • Cisco Trained
  • Pronto
  • Cognos
  • Informix Database Administration
  • 4GL Programming
  • Skills & Experience Requirements

  • Proven experience managing Pronto Xi or similar ERP systems.
  • Strong understanding of business processes across finance, supply chain, and operations.
  • Solid troubleshooting skills and experience supporting enterprise applications.
  • Familiarity with 4GL, Informix databases, scripting, and reporting tools (e.g., Cognos & Power BI) is essential.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
