About the Role

As part of a large-scale initiative to hire 100+ Java Full Stack Developers , we are seeking experienced Java Developer Technical Screeners to conduct in-depth technical evaluations of candidates. You will play a critical role in ensuring only the most qualified professionals move forward in the hiring process. This is a part-time, seasonal opportunity , ideal for senior engineers who enjoy assessing technical talent and influencing team growth at scale and also with fulltime jobs and wants to have an additional income.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct technical interviews and coding assessments for Java Full Stack developer candidates (6–12 years experience range).
  • Evaluate candidates’ proficiency across backend, frontend, cloud, DevOps, and testing technologies.
  • Design and administer live coding challenges , problem-solving questions, and scenario-based discussions.
  • Assess candidates’ ability to design microservices, REST APIs, and event-driven architectures .
  • Evaluate practical knowledge of AWS cloud services and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform / CloudFormation).
  • Screen for strong DevOps skills (CI / CD, Jenkins, Git, Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Validate frontend expertise in Angular or React , JavaScript / TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
  • Review candidates’ understanding of databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB).
  • Assess testing knowledge with JUnit, Mockito, Selenium, Cucumber .
  • Provide structured feedback and recommendations to hiring managers and recruiting teams.
  • Collaborate with recruitment operations to standardize evaluation criteria and ensure fairness across all interviews.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of hands-on Java Full Stack development experience.
  • Prior experience conducting technical interviews or mentoring developers.
  • Strong technical expertise across :
  • Backend : Core Java, Spring Boot, microservices, REST APIs.
  • Cloud : AWS (EC2, Lambda, RDS, IAM, S3), Terraform / CloudFormation.
  • DevOps : Jenkins, Git, Docker, Kubernetes.
  • Frontend : Angular or React, JavaScript / TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3.
  • Databases : MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB.
  • Testing : JUnit, Mockito, Selenium, Cucumber.
  • Familiarity with Agile / Scrum methodologies .
  • Excellent communication and feedback delivery skills.
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience as a Technical Screener, Interviewer, or Tech Lead .
  • Exposure to serverless architectures (AWS Lambda, Step Functions).
  • Experience with messaging / streaming platforms (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
  • Strong ability to differentiate between theoretical knowledge and real-world hands-on experience .
  • Compensation & Engagement

  • ₹500–700 INR per interview conducted (based on experience).
  • Part-time / seasonal opportunity with flexible scheduling.
  • Payment is provided per completed interview with structured feedback submission.
