Role Description

This is an on-site full-time role for a Professor of Mathematics at RIT Roorkee in Uttarakhand. The Professor of Mathematics will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Physics, and Statistics. Day-to-day tasks include developing and updating the curriculum, preparing and delivering lectures, and assessing student performance. The role also involves mentoring students, participating in departmental meetings, and contributing to research projects within the institute.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Mathematics and Applied Mathematics
• Knowledge of Physics and Statistics
• Experience in Curriculum Development
• Strong research and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ph.D. in Mathematics or a related field
• Previous teaching experience in a higher education institution is preferred
