Position Overview

We are seeking a business-minded Data Analyst with strong technical expertise and a passion for transforming data into actionable business insights. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business strategy and data analytics, leveraging tools such as R Shiny, SQL, and Python to develop dynamic dashboards, automate reporting processes, and support data-driven decision-making across multiple business functions.

This role goes beyond technical data handling — it requires a deep understanding of how analytical outputs influence commercial performance, operations, and strategic planning. You will work closely with business stakeholders to translate analytical findings into meaningful recommendations that drive measurable business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and enhance automated data pipelines and reporting frameworks that support business operations and strategic insights.
Build interactive R Shiny applications and dashboards that enable real-time business performance tracking and decision-making.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business objectives and translate them into clear analytical requirements.
Use Apache Airflow (or equivalent orchestration tools) to manage and monitor data workflows, ensuring reliability and scalability.
Perform root-cause analysis and troubleshooting to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across reports and systems.
Identify opportunities for automation, efficiency improvements, and data process optimization.
Communicate analytical insights and business implications clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications

Technical Skills : Strong proficiency in SQL, R, and R Shiny; working knowledge of Python and experience with Apache Airflow or other workflow management tools.

Business Acumen : Demonstrated ability to interpret data in a business context — connecting analytics to strategic and operational goals.

Education : Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Data Science, Business Analytics, Economics, Statistics, or a related technical / business discipline.

Experience : Minimum 4+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or analytics pipeline development within a business-driven environment.

Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a focus on delivering business value.

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
