Job Description

Key Requirements

1- Prior Experience in advising, setting up, registration of Mutual Funds, filing of mutual fund application on the SEBI Intermediary portal. Prior experience with the SEBI Mutual fund division or mutual fund houses.

2- Expertise in laws, regulations and compliance requirements of an AMC, Trustee company of a Mutual Fund.

Key Skills

1. Exhibit strong practice skills including (a) oral and written advocacy; (b) contract drafting; (c) analysing and communicating technical matters

2. Efficiently manage timelines of assignments and are a multi-tasker able to handle multiple assignments simultaneously.

3. Solution-oriented approach with proven ability to close transactions independently with minimal supervision.

4. Outstanding communication skills - both written and verbal - with a proven ability to communicate to all "clients" (internal and external).

5. Good understanding on a wide range of legal subjects, ability to build on this knowledge, spot issues and bring in specialists as needed.

6. Drive for technical superiority by staying abreast of developments in Law and be the go-to subject matter expert.
