Job description
Qualification : Bachelor of Applied Science or equivalent
Key Responsibilities :
- Process Optimization : Analyze existing manufacturing processes, identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement. Develop and implement innovative solutions to optimize production, reduce waste, and increase yield.
- Technology & Equipment Enhancement : Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess and recommend upgrades or modifications to machinery, equipment, and technologies used in pulp and paper production. Stay updated on industry advancements to drive continuous improvement.
- Quality Assurance : Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure final pulp and paper products meet or exceed industry standards and customer specifications.
- Safety & Compliance : Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards throughout the production process. Conduct risk assessments, participate in safety audits, and contribute to the development of safety protocols.
- Continuous Improvement & Problem-Solving : Participate in root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions for process deviations, failures, and incidents. Lead and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for operational excellence.
