Job description

Role - SDET SME

Experience - 12+ years

Notice Period - Immediate joiners preferred

Location - Mahadevpura, Bengaluru (Onsite)

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end automated test frameworks and scripts.
  • Act as SME for multiple automation tools, guiding teams on best practices and tool adoption.
  • Collaborate with multiple QA teams to define test strategies and ensure product quality.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
  • Establishing and maturing the testing practice for new and existing teams.
  • Drive test automation coverage across web, API, and backend services.
  • Mentor and coach junior QA engineers and SDETs.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve automation issues in a timely manner.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 12+ years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on test automation.
  • In-depth knowledge of end-to-end testing methodologies and best practices.
  • Proven expertise in at least two automation tools, preferably Cypress and Playwright.
  • Strong programming skills in JavaScript / TypeScript, Java, or Python.
  • Experience with API testing (e.g., Postman, requests library).
  • Familiarity with CI / CD pipelines (GitHub Actions).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Knowledge on security / pen testing is a huge advantage.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

    • Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with testing of Gen AI and analytics products (e.g., BrowserStack, Sauce Labs).
  • Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, k6).
  • Experience in Agile / Scrum environments
