We are looking for candidates for Delivery Manager role at Mumbai location for m anaging Planning, Tracking & governing Projects Delivery , to ensure delivery commitments are met on time, within budgets and meet quality compliance as per client and Bureau Veritas protocols.
Principal Accountabilities :
Planning and scheduling the delivery process, including defining project scope, milestones, and timelines.
Managing the budget and resources of the delivery, including allocating tasks to team members and ensuring that the project stays on track.
Identifying and managing risks to the delivery, including developing contingency plans to mitigate potential issues.
Communicating with stakeholders , including team members, clients, and other stakeholders, to ensure that everyone is informed about the progress of the delivery.
Tracking progress and making adjustments as needed to keep the delivery on track.
Providing guidance and mentorship to team members to ensure that they have the skills and support they need to complete their tasks.
Working with stakeholders to meet their needs and expectations.
Reporting the progress of projects and ensuring timely escalation to the right level.
Job Knowledge, Skills & Experience :
Experience :
At least 15-20 years of IT Experience with 5-10 years of Delivery Management Role
Experience in delivering a portfolio of projects is essential
Experience in delivering Large Enterprise IT software implementation projects
Good financial acumen in budgeting, forecasting and tracking is essential
Experience in Enterprise projects which include PLM projects is a plus
Capability to manage global business stakeholders is essential
Experience in Working with European clients from India is essential
Skills :
Excellent aptitude on Technical aspects of Application development, deployment & Analyzing technical aspects of applications
Hand-on expertise in planning, tracking and reporting project progress is essential
Understanding the Project Methodologies and Sprint based delivery is essential
Good problem-solving skills, strategic thinking acumen for continuous improvement is essential
Good working knowledge on MS office tool such as Excel & power point is essential
PLM knowledge and expertise in working on PLM projects is good to have.
Leadership skills towards Guiding and motivating teams, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment, and providing direction is essential
Good communication (written and verbal) is essential
Good working knowledge on MS office tool such as Excel & power point is essential
Ability to diplomatically handle challenging situations and escalation management
Qualification :
Atleast Bachelor’s degree in engineering (in any disciple).
Certification in Project Management, Sprint based Project Management is good to have.
