Job descriptionMaster’s Degree in Chemistry (M.Sc. Chemistry preferable). B.Ed. mandatory. Minimum 3+ years of teaching for Grades 9–12 (CBSE preferred). Experience preparing students for NEET / JEE is essential. Strong communication skills, ability to simplify complex concepts, and comfort with residential school duties. Teach Physics to Grades 9–12 as per CBSE curriculum with conceptual clarity and practical integration. Prepare students extensively for CBSE Board Exams with structured teaching plans and regular assessments. Deliver focused coaching for JEE (Main + Advanced) and NEET , with emphasis on numerical solving, conceptual understanding, and exam strategy. Conduct evening doubt-clearing sessions , practice classes, and test-series for competitive exams. Guide students on Physics lab experiments , practical files, and application-based projects. Monitor academic performance and maintain clear communication with academic coordinators and parents. Play an active role in the residential school ecosystem—study hours, academic supervision, and student mentoring. Master’s Degree in Physics (M.Sc. Physics preferred). B.Ed. mandatory. Minimum 3+ years experience teaching higher secondary grades. Proven track record of training students for JEE / NEET . Strong analytical and teaching skills; ability to manage academically strong as well as struggling learners.
Chemistry Teacher (Grades 9–12)
Location : Shivneri Residential School (Junnar, Pune )
Position Type : Full-time (Residential Preferred)
Roles & Responsibilities :
- Teach CBSE curriculum for Grades 9–12 (Foundational + Competency-Based Learning).
- Prepare students for Board Exams (Class 10 & 12) with structured lesson plans, practice papers, and revisions.
- Deliver advanced coaching for NEET / JEE including problem-solving strategies, application-based concepts, and past-year papers.
- Conduct regular doubt-solving sessions , weekend extra classes, and personalized mentoring for competitive exams.
- Prepare and monitor students’ academic progress using assessments, tests, and skill-based evaluations.
- Create a strong, positive learning environment in classrooms and hostel study hours.
- Collaborate with the Science Department to plan integrated labs, projects, and PBL-based activities .
- Maintain student discipline, communication with parents, and coordination with hostel wardens.
