Job Title : Global Operations Coordinator – Port Agency Division
Location : Andheri West, Mumbai, India
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Global Operations Coordinator to oversee and manage operations within the Port Agency Division . The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless coordination of port activities, maintaining high service standards, and building long-term client relationships.
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee and manage port agency operations, including vessel coordination, port clearance, and cargo handling.
- Liaise with port authorities, customs officials, and other stakeholders to ensure timely operations.
- Provide regular updates to clients on vessel schedules, cargo status, and operational performance.
- Monitor costs, budgets, and service efficiency to ensure profitability and customer satisfaction.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational workflows and implement best practices.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with shipping lines, agents, and clients.
- Ensure compliance with international maritime laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Prepare reports and analyze operational data to identify trends and inform decision-making.
Qualifications and Skills :
Bachelor’s degree in Shipping, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.3+ years of experience in port agency services or related maritime operations.Strong understanding of port logistics, customs regulations, and maritime documentation.Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency in operational software and MS Office Suite.Knowledge of global shipping trends and practices is a plus.What We Offer :
