Job description

Role : OCI DevOps Engineer

We are looking for an OCI DevOps Engineer with 34 years of experience and strong banking domain expertise for a 3-month contractual full-time remote role.

The candidate will be responsible for building, maintaining, and automating cloud infrastructure and CI / CD pipelines on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), ensuring high reliability, security, and scalability of banking applications.

Key Responsibilities :

Design, implement, and maintain DevOps pipelines using OCI services.
Automate provisioning, deployment, and monitoring of banking applications on OCI.
Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline CI / CD processes.
Manage infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using Terraform or OCI Resource Manager.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud infrastructure for performance and cost.
Implement security best practices in cloud deployments, adhering to banking compliance standards.
Support migration of applications and workloads to OCI, ensuring minimal downtime.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Experience : 3 to 4 years of hands-on experience in OCI DevOps / Cloud Engineering.

Banking Domain : Proven experience in banking or financial services.

Cloud & DevOps Tools : OCI services (Compute, Networking, IAM, Object Storage), Terraform, Ansible, OCI Resource Manager.

CI / CD Tools : Jenkins, Git, GitHub, GitLab, or similar.

Containerization & Orchestration : Docker, Kubernetes (OKE preferred).

Scripting Languages : Shell, Python, or similar for automation.

Monitoring & Logging : Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, OCI Monitoring.

Soft Skills : Strong communication, problem-solving, and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
