Senior Engineer - Purchase (Casting)

We are Hiring | Purchase - Senior Engineer / Assistant Manager (Casting Components)Vandewiele Savio India Private Limited | Coimbatore, Tamil NaduAre you an experienced procurement leader with strong expertise in casting components sourcing and supplier management.Key Responsibilities- Perform sourcing and procurement of casting components (PAC, GAC, Cast Iron).- Manage supplier identification, evaluation, and development for Grey Iron Casting, Pressure Die Casting (PDC), and Gravity Die Casting (GDC).- Drive cost optimization, commercial negotiations, and VA / VE initiatives.- Ensure timely procurement aligned with production schedules through Infor ERP (or similar MRP systems).- Collaborate with Design, Quality, Production, and Finance teams to resolve supplier quality / delivery issues.- Build and maintain supplier databases, performance metrics, and improvement plans.- Ensure compliance with ISO standards, audits, and documentation.- Support strategic sourcing and continuous improvement initiatives.What We're Looking For- B.E / M.E. in Mechanical Engineering or related field.- 8+ years experience in procurement / sourcing in the manufacturing / engineering industry.- Strong technical knowledge of casting manufacturing processes.- Hands-on expertise in costing, vendor development, and quality systems.- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems (preferably Infor).- Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and communication skills.- Ability to lead with urgency, critical thinking, and cross-functional collaboration.- Willingness to travel for supplier / vendor development.Send your CV to
