Inviting applications for the role of Consultant, French Translator!
Responsibilities :
- Language translator (Real time support) – Primary role will be to serve as a cooperation between users and the L2 team, providing real-time interpretation for meetings, video calls, and training sessions
- Technical terminology handling – He / She should be able to understand the IT and SAP related business terminology
- Act as L1 support to identify the issues and assign to correct L2 team
- Translate user manuals, SOPs, troubleshooting guidelines, and training materials
- Translate a wide range of documents, including but not limited to, articles, reports, marketing materials, website content, and legal documents, from English to French and vice versa.
- Ensure the accuracy and quality of translations, paying attention to grammar, punctuation, and cultural nuances.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure consistency in terminology and style across translations.
- Conduct research as needed to ensure the accuracy and relevance of translations.
- Meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in handling sensitive information.
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum qualifications
Degree or postgraduate qualification in French language translation
Preferred Qualifications / Skills
Proven experience as a translator, with a focus on English to French and French to English translations.Excellent proficiency in both English and French, with strong writing and communication skills in both languages.A degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field is preferred.Proficiency in translation software and tools is an advantage.Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy under tight deadlines.Cultural sensitivity and awareness of linguistic nuances.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
