Senior Geospatial Developer Position

Job descriptionBachelor's or Master's degree in GIS, Computer Science, Geography, or a related field. Minimum 7 years of experience in GIS development, with expertise in ESRI ArcGIS Suite including ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Server, and ArcGIS Online. Experience migrating Geocortex Essentials and custom HTML 5 web applications to ESRI's JavaScript API version 4 is highly desirable. You should have hands-on experience with FME, GDAL, or other ETL / data transformation tools and proficiency in web development frameworks and APIs (REST / SOAP). Familiarity with open-source GIS platforms such as QGIS, GeoServer, and MapServer is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, strong communication and documentation skills are essential for success in this role.
About Our GIS Development Role :
- As a skilled geospatial developer, you will design and develop custom GIS applications and web-based mapping solutions that drive business growth.
- You will create geospatial workflows and tools based on user requirements, ensuring seamless integration with our systems.
- Developing scripts and tools for data automation, analysis, and processing using Python / ArcPy is an integral part of this role.
- Maintaining and optimizing spatial databases such as PostGIS and SQL Server is also key to your success in this position.
- You will be responsible for creating interactive maps, dashboards, and visualizations using ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Pro, QGIS, or Mapbox to support informed decision-making.
- Additionally, you will provide expert-level support and troubleshooting for GIS-related issues and enhancements, staying updated with emerging GIS technologies and best practices.
