Job Description

We are hiring an experienced Quality Controller for steel fabrication projects in Tamil Nadu. The role involves ensuring product quality through inspections, compliance with welding and fabrication standards, and maintaining accurate quality documentation throughout the production process.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect raw materials, welding activities, and finished fabricated components to ensure compliance with specified standards and client requirements
  

• Perform in-process inspections to monitor production quality and identify deviations at an early stage
  

• Interpret engineering drawings, Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS), and inspection criteria
  

• Prepare inspection reports, Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and maintain quality records and documentation
  

• Verify dimensional accuracy using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, vernier calipers, and gauges
  

• Ensure adherence to quality, safety, and fabrication standards throughout the manufacturing process
  
  
  Salary Range : 28,000 INR Per Month
  

Requirements

Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field. Minimum 3+years of experience in quality control within a steel or heavy fabrication environment. Proven knowledge of welding standards and fabrication codes, including AWS D1.1, ASME Section IX, and ISO 9001. Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills with a focus on accuracy and clarity. Computer literate with proficiency in MS Office, report generation, and digital quality record systems.
