Job description

Key Responsibilities :

Develop and Customize Jutro Applications :

  • Build and customize applications using the Jutro framework (based on React) for Guidewire Digital portals like ProducerEngage and CustomerEngage.

UI / UX Development :

  • Create responsive, accessible, and high-performance user interfaces for digital experiences.

    • Integration :

  • Integrate with Guidewire APIs (like Edge APIs) and other systems, including PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter.

    • Collaboration :

  • Work closely with UX designers, product owners, and back-end developers to deliver end-to-end solutions.

    • Agile Practices :

  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and code reviews.

    • Troubleshooting And Support :

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the digital stack, including UI, middleware, and integration layers.

    • Code Quality :

  • Ensure high-quality code through reviews, test automation, and CI / CD practices.

    • Mentorship :

  • May mentor junior developers and contribute to improving development processes.

    • Required Skills And Experience :

  • Guidewire Jutro : Strong proficiency in the Jutro framework and its integration with Guidewire products.
  • React : Solid experience with React (including Hooks and Functional Components) and JavaScript.
  • UI / UX : Experience with building user interfaces, including responsive design and accessibility.
  • API Integration : Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and integrating with various systems.
  • Agile Methodologies : Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments.
  • Guidewire Products : Familiarity with Guidewire PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, or ClaimCenter is often required.
  • Edge APIs : Experience with Guidewire Edge APIs and DTO mapping.
  • Technical Skills : Knowledge of Java, Object-Oriented programming, and Gosu scripting is often preferred.
  • Soft Skills : Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
