Technical Manager

As an Engineering Manager , you’ll lead a bunch of brilliant engineers, build systems that scale to millions, and make magic happen behind the scenes of one of India’s fastest-growing social discovery apps. You’ll work closely with Product, Design, and Founders — taking ideas from whiteboard sketches to real, scalable, high-impact features 🚀

This is a role for someone who loves to code, lead, mentor, and innovate — all in one go.

⚙️ What You’ll Do

• 👨 💻 Lead, mentor & manage a team of rockstar engineers across backend, Android, iOS & infrastructure.
• 🎯 Translate product vision into strong, scalable, and high-performing tech systems.
• 🔧 Drive engineering best practices — from architecture design to CI / CD deployment.
• 💡 Stay ahead of the curve with emerging tech & explore ways to push FRND’s performance and reliability.
• 🧠 Solve complex system challenges and ensure smooth, reliable user experiences at scale.
• ⏱️ Plan & manage timelines, ensuring we ship fast and ship well.
• 🙌 Build a positive, high-energy engineering culture built on ownership, curiosity, and collaboration.
• 👥 Conduct 1 : 1s, performance reviews & growth sessions to help your team level up.
• 🧩 Partner with cross-functional teams (Product, Design, Business) to build features that users actually love .
• 💬 Play a key role in hiring, team-building, and shaping the future of the engineering.

🧩 What We’re Looking For

🗓 Note : The FRND team works 6 days a week , with 1st and 3rd Saturdays being working days.
