Global Job Title : Senior Manager - Treasury India (Leadership Level)
Role Purpose Statement :
Reporting to the Sr. Director Treasurer Global Cash Management and Trade Finance, this role is a senior role responsible for the daily management of all treasury related matters in India and being the local point of contact for the Bunge treasury side in relation to the execution of the global BBS Strategy.
Main Accountabilities :
- Management of the India treasury team, with a clear focus on cash management, foreign exchange risk, local debt facilities, M&A, Capex, JV’s and Affiliate Finance.
- Working closely with the global treasury team and BBS leadership, design and execute the global BBS Strategy of the Treasury function. Treasury processes executed within BBS (primarily Mohali and Gaspar) include a vast swathe across Global, regional and local cash management, capital markets, trade finance, treasury technology and foreign exchange, including the FX CoE in Mohali.
- Act as the local point of contact for global Bunge treasury to facilitate the day-to-day execution of the BBS related treasury strategies and tasks.
- Work closely with the local BBS team to explain the treasury tasks that are being transitioned to BBS from other parts of the world.
- Monitor the seamless transition of processes in BBS, acting as the interface between the treasury teams and the BBS team.
- Manage the integration of the legacy Viterra India and Bunge India treasury teams and systems.
- Accountability for the identification, measurement, management and reporting of the country’s foreign exchange risks, with the processes being executed by the Mohali CoE.
- Team Leadership : Supervise and mentor a team of treasury professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, risk awareness, and continuous learning.
- Stakeholder Management : Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders (e.g., treasury lead team, tax, accounting, legal, commercial leaders) and external partners (e.g., commercial banks, RBI).
Education & Experience :
Minimum of a bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (economics, finance, or business). Master's degree preferred.Minimum of 10+ years of progressive experience in international finance, treasury management, preferably within the manufacturing & commodity trading industry.
