MEP CAD Draughtsman

Responsibilities

• Create detailed MEP drawings, including plans, elevations, sections, and details, using AutoCAD / Revit or other relevant drafting software.
• Collaborate with engineers and designers to understand project requirements and incorporate design changes as needed.
• Ensure that drawings adhere to project specifications, industry standards, and local building codes.
• Having better understanding of MEP Design.
• Communicate effectively with other drafting team members to maintain consistency and accuracy across all drawings.
• Keep track of revisions and updates to MEP drawings throughout the project lifecycle.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date documentation related to MEP drawings.
• Conduct self-reviews and quality checks to ensure the accuracy and completeness of MEP drawings.
• Assist in the identification and resolution of any discrepancies or issues in the drawings.
• Collect initial drawings, calculations and design ideas from engineers, and complete initial design drawing for review and modification.
• Preparation and validation of the BOQ
