K ey Responsibilities :
- Full lifecycle database administration (Oracle RAC, ODG, GoldenGate, Exadata, OEM)
- DB installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, security & backup (RMAN)
- DR setup & monitoring, Data Guard, ARC / Log shipping
- Performance tuning, ORA error resolution, RCA preparation
- Capacity planning, risk analysis, SOP & knowledge base maintenance
- Incident handling : DB crashes, instance hangs, space issues
- Security management, session auditing, access control
- Monitoring, alert handling, performance trend analysis
- Documentation, audit compliance, DR drills, OEM coordination
- Basic knowledge of other RDBMS / Open Source DBs preferred
- Daily checklist reviews & detailed activity planning
