Purpose
To independently manage legal aspects of real estate transactions and contracts including but not limited to Due Diligence, drafting, vetting and negotiation of Agreements / Lease Deeds, co-ordination with internal stakeholders as well external stakeholders such as landlords / owners / developers / lawyers for compilation of DD documents, agreements, risk mitigation, and effective legal support for closure of Real estate transactions / business operations.
Role and responsibilities :
- Independently draft, review, and vet real estate transaction documents, including Agreement to
Lease / Lease Agreements, Leave and License Agreements, Side Letters and Conveyance Deeds.
Handling Title Due Diligence for properties across PAN India.Interact with internal teams as well as external lawyers for collation of Due Diligence documents and effective closure of DD exercise.Knowledge / Handling of Real estate litigation will be an added advantageHandle legal notices, draft responses, and manage other legal correspondences efficiently.Conduct legal research to study, interpret, and advise on relevant laws, rules, and regulations.Maintain and update MIS for real estate transactions and related legal matters.Desired Candidate Profile :
LLB with minimum 5 yrs of experience is required in the fields of real estate / retail / hospitality industries, with a strong background in real estate laws.Inclinations towards drafting contractsExcellent communication skill both written and oral to be able to communicate and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders.Interested in working in the fast paced, growing corporate environment.Strong Collaborator & Team player, with ability to work closely with business and key stakeholders.Willingness to travel often.Lighthouse Learning is an equal opportunity employer and its recruitment and selection process does not discriminate
