Assistance Finance Controller

This role is for an Assistance Finance Controller to serve as a direct representative for the Cluster CFO (CCFO) at an outsourced location. The ideal candidate will take joint ownership of financial operations, ensure accuracy and compliance, and act as a key point of contact for financial matters related to their specific cluster.

Responsibilities

• Act as the CCFO's direct representative, ensuring transparency and alignment with financial objectives.
• Jointly manage and take ownership of financial operations and the company's books of accounts .
• Work as an integral part of the Shared Services team to drive efficiency, accuracy, and compliance in financial processes.
• Serve as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for the CCFO, addressing financial queries for the specific cluster.
• Collaborate with OTC (Order to Cash) and PTP (Procure to Pay) teams to drive synergies across operational towers.
• Ensure all accounting processes align with business needs and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee the month-end and year-end close process , ensuring timely and accurate completion.
• Conduct high-level reviews of Balance Sheets and Profit & Loss statements to identify errors or inconsistencies.
• Provide assurance to the CFO / CCFO regarding the completeness and accuracy of the General Ledger (GL) .
• Control, review, and sign off on all reconciliations for the Shared Services Center.
• Co-own the Month-end Close calendar with the CCFO / CFO and ensure timely book closure.
• Engage with the CCFO and Finance Managers on compliance-related concerns and potential risks.
• Take a hands-on, action-oriented approach to resolving financial issues and improving process efficiencies.
• Respond promptly to queries from the CCFO and Finance Managers.
